The Artist

Misty Sky - Designer, Metalsmith

Misty grew up surrounded by the redwood forests, Felta creek and Russian River, hills and oak trees, and the breathtaking coastline of Sonoma County, California. The close connection with nature formed early in her life has only deepened throughout the years. This love of the natural world is expressed in the unique pieces she creates. A Kashia Pomo Native American artist, her work also tends to reflect a blend of traditional Native American and modern styles.

Misty studied metalsmithing in Marin County and Sonoma County, California, as well as Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico where she also began learning lapidary. She is grateful to the amazing teachers who have generously shared their wisdom and guidance. Her fascination with this art only increases as she continues to learn and explore the world of metalsmithing and all its wonders and possibilities.

Each piece of jewelry is lovingly handcrafted by the artist in her rural, Northern California studio. Misty enjoys creating wearable art using gemstones, sterling and fine silver, as well as 18k, 22k, and for the investor, 24k gold. The intention with each piece is to create something beautiful, lasting, and always with the wearer in mind.
